Reagan is 10. She designs, sews, strings and 3D-prints small goods in Orange County, and sells most of them in person at the bowling alley.

I make everything here myself. I pick the fabric and sew the wristlets, I string the bead keychains, and I set up the prints on our 3D printer. My favorite part is when someone picks one up at the bowling alley and knows exactly who it’s for.

How things get made
Sewing
Wristlets and pouches are cut from printed cotton and sewn on Reagan’s sewing machine, with a metal clasp or zipper added at the end. Her mom helps with cutting.
Beading
Bead and junk keychains are strung by hand, one bead or charm at a time, onto wire or cord and finished with a split ring.
3D printing
Name tags, team pieces and other printed items are designed on the computer and printed in PLA plastic on the family’s printer, then cleaned up and fitted with a ring. That part is a family effort.
Every product on the shop carries a tag saying which of these it is, so you always know how the thing in your hand was made.
